Since our founding in 1994, Norquest Brands Pvt. Ltd. has grown to become a trusted name in the manufacture and export of bespoke eco-friendly bags. With nearly three decades of expertise, we specialize in creating sustainable packaging solutions that meet the needs of global brands. State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facilities

Our facilities in Ahmedabad, India, a hub for cotton textile processing, span over 30,000 square feet and are equipped with advanced infrastructure, including 200 high-performance machines. This allows us a production capacity of 18,000 bags per day. We house in-house sampling and digital printing units, ensuring flexibility and fast customization. Focused on quality and compliance, our facilities have been ethically audited and certified by SEDEX 4 Pillar (SMETA), Fairtrade, GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), and GRS (Global Recycled Standard).

Executive Team

Sanjiv Sood

Managing Director

Sanjiv is the founder and Managing Director of Norquest. He’s been in the manufacturing business for over 35 years, the last 20 heading Norquest. He’s an engineer by education from IIT Bombay, but he proudly calls himself a tailor for the environment. You can find him on sanjiv@norquestbrands.com

Romen Sood

Director

Romen is a marketing whiz, having worked with some of the largest brands in India. He was previously Vice President at Radio Mirchi. An MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Romen’s keen marketing sense is the litmus test for all Norquest’s marketing strategies. You can find him on romen@norquestbrands.com

Udit Sood

Director

Udit is a Director of Norquest and heads the eco-friendly brand EcoRight. He’s an MBA from IIM Calcutta and has previously worked at Zomato, HUL and TAS. When he’s not running around trying to think of the next big bag, he’s dreaming about being an Oscar Winning Award actor (he has a speech prepared). You can find him on udit@norquestbrands.com

Key Personnel

Balamurugan Mudaliar

Our Production Manager aka Boss Man Bala!. His speciality is keep the shop floor humming efficiently. He's obsessed about meeting customer quality and timeline requirements. He can often find him pacing the factory figuring out new technologies for speed and safety.

Jayraj Jadeja

Jayraj is our industrial engineer. His job is to understand each product that comes through Norquest’s factories and engineer them to ensure the high quality and efficiency that Norquest is known for. When not working furiously to ensure efficiency, you can find him enjoying long drives on his Royal Enfield.

Manoj Saonerkar

Manoj Heads the crucial quality control function. With wide QC experience in large textile export companies, he ensures that stringent quality standards are maintained at each stage of manufacturing. Ever smiling and friendly in person, he is ruthless on the shopfloor if he finds deviations from customer specifications.

Alpesh Bait

Alpesh is one of the first employees at Norquest. He heads Logistics and Supply chain and will be the one making sure all your orders get to you fast, safe and secure. His knowledge about shipping lines, road transport or air cargo is legendary. We call him Mr Dependable!

Jayashri Patdiya

Jayashri is a versatile and proactive person! She manages the HR function to ensure that the factory workers and staff are looked after well and perform to their potential. She additionally manages the social compliances and regulatory functions so that Norquest can match the highest international standards.

Vijay Parmar

Vijay is the man who can find Nemo! Our Sourcing Head, Vijay can find anything you need to make your order complete. He trawls through rain, hail and sunshine to source the best materials. Ask for something you want, challenge him and you'll be surprised to see what all he can find!

Pragnesh Chavda

Pragnesh is our technical guru. He’s the person who is continuously looking for
improving our manufacturing processes through technical advancements. Some say he even dreams of automated pattern machines!

Selvi Naykar

Selvi is our sales genius. She handles customers across the world with ease, switching seamlessly between customers worth billions to new customers who are just starting off their business. Quiet, unassuming and incredibly polite, she’s a shark when it comes to pricing and
fighting for her customers!
